Tripod mounted portable infrared heaters

The HQ1500P tripod mounted portable infrared heater is a versatile, lightweight, easily transportable quartz heater, which has been designed for general heating and drying applications.

The HQ1500P-LV 110v version is intended for use on construction sites, and in workplaces where the use of 230v portable equipment is prohibited.

The HQ1500P produces 1.2 micron shortwave infrared heat which is ideal for:

• Directly heating workers
• Drying paint and plaster
• Curing adhesives and GRP

The tripod height is easily adjustable between 91cm and 167cm. The heater head tilts up and down, allowing the infrared heat to be directed exactly where it's needed.

When the heater is not in use the cable wraps around the cable tidy on the tripod.

The heater quickly breaks down and the tripod folds up for easy storage and transport.

Activair portable infrared heaters are fully approved to BS EN 60335-2-30 and are CE marked.

Electricity supply requirements for Activair portable radiant heaters

The HQ1500P-LV portable infrared heater requires a 16A 110V electricity supply and is fitted with a yellow 110V 16A 3 pin BS EN60309 plug.

Accessories for 110V HQ1500P-LV

3000VA continuous rated vented heater transformer	230V input - 110V out via 1 x 32A and 1 x 16A outlet.
14m extension lead	110V extension lead, 16A plug to 16A socket.
32A to 16A adaptor	110V 32A plug to 16A socket. Allows a second HQ1500P-LV to be plugged into the 32A outlet of our transformer.

Replacement Infrared lamps

The HQ1500P infrared heater is fitted with a 1500W halogen filled quartz linear lamp with a tungsten element, which operates at approximately 2200 degrees C and is housed in a quartz sleeve to filter out white light and emit short wave infrared radiant heat at 1.2 microns.

Under normal use the lamp should last approximately 2000 hours, replacement lamps are available as follows:

Please note: These lamps are only for use in our HQ1500P infrared heaters. Users of other makes or heaters should contact their original supplier for replacement lamps.

Activair portable infrared heaters are manufactured to the highest standards, and we are confident that they are completely reliable. However, in the unlikely event a fault may occur, they have a full 1 year return to base parts and labour guarantee.

Please note the infrared lamps are consumable items, and as such are not covered by the guarantee.

Portable space heating, zone heating and spot heating

The HQ1500P lamp reaches full output almost instantly and emits 1.2 micron shortwave infrared heat, which is particularly suited for general space heating, zone and localised spot heating and drying.

The height adjustable tripod conveniently folds up for transport and storage.
