Portable heater - heavy duty 2Kw electric fan heater
The Activair portable heater is a compact heavy duty 2Kw electric fan heater, designed
for use in factories, workshops, garages, etc. It produces an intense stream of
very hot air making it ideal
as personal heater for individuals working in
cold open spaces, or as a space heater in smaller enclosed areas, such as site
huts.
The Activair portable is a small heater measuring 155mm(wide) by 215mm(high) by 190mm(deep) and weighs 2.4Kg.
The handle on top allows it to be easily carried from place to place.
Robust portable heater for industrial applications
The Activair KX2 portable heater has a tough metal case finished in corrosion resistant
paint. It is protected to IP21, and can be safely used in damp areas. The Activair
portable heater should not be used outdoors unless it is completely sheltered
from rainfall and fed via an RCD.
The long life ceramic PTC element is completely maintenance free, heats up rapidly, and is shock resistant.
Its unique self regulating design prevents over heating and increases its lifespan.
The Activair KX2 portable heater is designed for years of trouble free operation in the most inhospitable
environments. They are widely used in:

The KX2 portable heater is completely safe – its built in safety trip prevents over
heating -- even if it is knocked over or covered.
For protection against electric shock, the Activair portable heater is earthed. It is supplied with a 2
metre scuff resistant lead, and a heavy duty 13A UK plug.
For complete piece of mind the Activair portable heater has been independently tested for electrical
safety to comply with the LVD directive, and is CE marked.
Flexible and easy to control portable heater
The KX2 portable heater has two controls:
Main switch - Off, Half power (1Kw), or Full power (2Kw)
Thermostat - adjustable between 5 and 35 degrees centigrade.
The Activair portable heater produces 90 m3/hr of hot air with a maximum outlet temperature of
62 degrees
centigrade. Making it perfect for:
Space heating, frost protection and condensation control in small enclosed areas
Drying and warming - plaster, paint, mouldings, glue, etc.
Warming individuals in cold and difficult to heat areas

The Activair KX2 tough metal cased portable heater is designed for use with a 230V, 13A, 50Hz electrical
supply, and is supplied with a standard 3 pin 13A UK plug. It is suitable
