Corrosion resistant commercial fan heaters

Activair corrosion resistant commercial fan heaters are designed for use in humid, corrosive and aggressive environments such as car washes, sewage treatment plants, fermenting rooms etc. They are manufactured from stainless steel (casing EN 1.4404, stand/bracket and grilles EN 1.4404) and are protected to IP 65 (dust tight and water jets).

Activair corrosion resistant commercial fan heaters are available in 3kW (230V single phase), and 6kW and 9kW (400V 3 phase) versions. They can be stood on the floor or wall mounted, and have built in thermostats and output selector switches.

Capillary thermostat - adjustable between 0 and 35C
Output selector - full heat, half heat, and fan only
Fan control - continuous or intermittent operation

An external control unit (RTC) that contains a thermostat and output selector switch is available. Protected to IP65 and measuring 140 x 175 x 100mm, it replaces the built in thermostat and output selector for remote operation when the heater is mounted out of reach.

Activair corrosion resistant fan heaters have been independently tested for safety in accordance with the LVD 73/23/EEC directive, and for electro-magnetic interference in accordance with the EMC 89/336/EEC directive including amendments by the CE-marking Directive 93/68/EEC.

Activair corrosion resistant commercial fan heaters are manufactured to the highest standards, and we are confident that they are totally reliable. However, in the unlikely event a fault may occur, they have a full one year return to base parts and labour guarantee.

Electricity supply requirements for Activair corrosion resistant fan heaters

Activair portable fan heaters are designed for 230V single phase or 400V 3 phase 50Hz electricity supplies, and are suitable for use in the UK, most of Europe, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, but not the United States.

The C6, C9 and C15 3 phase models require a 3 phase and earth connection, a neutral connection is not needed.

All heaters are supplied with a 1.2m H07RN-F cable terminated in pig tails, a plug is not fitted unless specified when ordering.
