110V portable heater

The VBX3LV 3kw 110V portable fan heater is designed for use with 110 volt electricity supplies and is fitted with a yellow 32 amp 3 pin BS EN60309 yellow plug.

It is splash proof (protection class IPx4) and is suitable for use on construction sites, and in factories or workshops which require the use of 110v portable electrical equipment.

Approvals for the BX3LV 110v heater

The BX3LV portable 110v heater has been tested for safety in accordance with the LVD directive, for electro-magnetic interference in accordance with the EMC directive, and is CE marked.

Electricity supply requirements

The VBX3LV portable 110v fan heater requires a 32amp 110v 50hz electricity supply. It is suitable for use in the UK and Europe.

It is not suitable for American 60Hz electricity supplies.

The VBX3LV 110v portable heater is supplied with a 1.8m heavy duty lead, fitted with a 32A 3 pin yellow BSEN60309 (BS4343) plug.

Customers should check they have 32A sockets, not the smaller more common 16A ones before ordering.

The Activair VBX3LV portable 110 volt heater is a safe replacement for bottled gas heaters on building sites, and in factories and workshops where the use of 240V portable equipment is prohibited.

For maximum efficiency the built in thermostat regulates the temperature ensuring the heater only runs when it is needed. During warm spells the VBX3LV will operate in ‘fan only’ mode for cooling.
