Installing a Unico office air conditioner
Step 1
Fasten the drilling template to the wall leaving the necessary space from the ceiling, floor and side walls as shown
on the template.
Use a small drill to the centre of each hole to be drilled.
Step 2
Drill the holes for the wall bracket. Fit the bracket using fixings suitable for the wall construction.
Using a 154mm core drill (available from most diy or hire stores) drill the two air entry and exit holes.
Note: The holes should slightly slope downwards towards the outside, to prevent water flowing into the air conditioner. |
Step 3
For Unico office air conditioners fitted with a heat pump, drill a 16mm diameter hole for the condensate drain pipe.
Pass the plastic pipes through the holes. Trim to
length with a handsaw.
Step 4
The external grilles are spring loaded, attach the supplied chain to the grilles and pass them through the plastic pipes.
When they reach the outside they snap open. Trim the chain to length
and fasten it to the inner flange. |
Step 5
Mount the office air conditioner on the wall bracket.
The air conditioner is supplied with a plug, if it is installed near an outlet, you only need to plug it in.
If a permanent electrical connection is required, this must be carried out by a qualified electrician. |
